To commemorate the 1st anniversary of the opening of the Tamiya Play Model Factory in Shimbashi, Japan, Tamiya has produced this limited edition A6M5 Zero Fighter model kit. The Zero was an excellent fighter plane used in the beginning of the Pacific War. During the progression of the war improvements were made to the plane and different variations of the fighter were produced.

The 300 liter drop tank can be removed even after assembly.
One-piece engine cowl is precisely reproduced and the cowl flaps can be posed in either
open or closed positions.
4 pilot figures in various lifelike poses are included.
