The Tamiya DB-01 chassis is based on the competition level TRF501X off-road 4WD chassis kit. The same drive-train and suspension geometry that was devolped for the 501 are incorporated into the DB-01.
Since its release, the Tamiya DB-01 has had many options released for the kit. Tamiya now offers a DB-01R (R=Racing) that has 90% of these option parts included in one neat package at an affordable price point.
Specs & Features 2-belt driven 4WD DB01 buggy chassis has been evolved into the DB01R and comes loaded with many Option Parts.
Suspension features high traction arms, aeration dampers, and aluminum suspension mounts. Improved drivetrain features slipper clutch, assembly universal shafts, and reinforced drive belts to further improve efficiency.
