For this new addition to the R/C Car Series, Tamiya introduces the popular Mercedes-Benz CLK-DTM Team Vodafone AMG-Mercedes. Ace driver Bernd Schneider, who took the DTM Drivers Championship in 2000 and 2001, consistently took his Team Vodafone AMG-Mercedes car No. 1 to the front throughout the 2002 season. A realistically replicated polycarbonate body has been paired with the brand new TB-02 chassis in order to obtain high performance and a striking feel of realism.

Team Vodafone AMG-Mercedes Ace driver Bernd Schneider, who took the DTM Drivers Championship in 2000 and 2001, consistently took his Team Vodafone AMG-Mercedes, car No. 1 to the front throughout the 2002 season. A three year title just eluded Schneider who took 2nd place in the 2002 Drivers Championships. But what he did grasp, was unforgettable driving performance throughout the season and first place at the final race at Hokenheim.

The TB-02 chassis has been designed around a perfectly balanced bathtub frame in order to limit roll and obtain high stability. This chassis features double wishbone suspension coupled with oil-dampers giving this high performance chassis high grip. The TB-02 is equipped with an aluminum propeller shaft, front/rear ball diff, turn-buckle upper arms, high-torque servo saver and full ball bearing, turning this model into the best solution for drivers who want to start competing.
