About the Ford Focus RS WRC 01 Out of all the machines entered by six manufacturers in the intense 2001 World Rally Championship, the Ford Focus RS WRC 01 stood out competitively and gave Ford a superior edge. Since its debut in 1999, the Ford Focus RS WRC underwent various modifications, including engine and suspension upgrades, as well as a tire change from Michelin to Pirelli. Finally, the car's coloring and main sponsor were also changed.
High Drive Efficiency TB-01 Chassis For increased drive efficiency the chassis employs a longitudinally installed motor as well as shaft drive and a full set of ball-bearings. The durable, hardened resin main and upper frames are equipped with wheel dampers and independent 4-wheel double wishbone suspension. Aluminum motor heat sink has been installed to prevent overheating.
