Tamiya (#56007) - Tamiya 1/16 German King Tiger "Porsche Turret" R/C (Tank Only)

Tamiya's older R/C King Tiger kit is born again with state of the art technology!

All of Tamiya's large-scale R/C tanks now include their new "DMD control unit" which allows you to operate the tank with an R/C system designed for car models, but still reproduce realistic tank motions, such as turning in place. In addition, these revised kits also include a newly-designed gear box and pre-assembled track links.

As for the parts, get ready for a multi-media festival! The inner hull is aluminum. Drive sprockets and idler wheels, as well as all suspension arms are die-cast metal. Numerous other metal parts keep it all together. The upper hull, turret, barrel, road wheels and all detail parts (including three figures) are standard injection plastic.

This version of the kit includes the motors, DMD control unit and gear box, but you must supply your own 2-channel radio.
