Tamiya introduces an engine touring car kit based on a
simplified version of the high performance
TG10-Mk.2
Chassis (Item #44042).
High-performance racing parts such as 2-speed
transmission and racing clutch have been replaced with simplified standard
parts, and engine, muffler and body have been added for a complete assembly kit.
Kit is aimed at the experienced engine car user wanting to make that step up to
serious engine car racing. Compatible with racing parts included with the
original TG10-Mk.2 as well as a full range of option parts, these kits can
easily be up-graded, allowing the chassis to develop in-line with the driver�s
racing knowledge and experience. For our first releases we have chosen 2 of the
most popular cars racing in the 2004 JGTC, the Xanavi Nismo Z and the Raybrig
NSX.
About the Model
- Assembly kit based on the 4WD shaft driven TG10-Mk.2 high-performance
engine chassis.
- Kit includes a powerful recoil start compact FS-12LS .12-size engine
with muffler.
- Layout same as TG10-Mk.2 with engine and fuel tank forming one line for
consistent fuel supply.
- All heavy parts centered and lowered for excellent weight distribution
and a low center of gravity.
- 200mm tread, the preferred tread for engine touring car racing.
- One-speed transmission with centrifugal clutch and resin oil dampers.
- 4-wheel independent wishbone suspension with ball joint suspension arms
enabling quick setting adjustments to suit track conditions.
- Loads of option parts available for a high-performance racing chassis.
- Choice of 2 kits, the Xanavi Nismo Z (44043) or Raybrig NSX (44045),
with bodies specially designed to fit 200mm tread chassis.
