Tilly was the name
given to British Small Cars coming from the word Utility. These Tilly vehicles
were produced in large numbers for British and Allied forces during WWII from
civilian car designs. They were severely underpowered, but served with
distinction and stayed in production throughout WWII and could be seen on every
front. This British Car was powered by a four cylinder 22-kW engine derived from
a 10 HP commercial saloon.
