During WWII, on the
North African Front, Field Marshall Rommel often rode, commanded his forces from
his famous half-track Sd.Kfz250/3 with �GREIF� famously written on both sides.
The Sd.Kfz.250/3 command vehicle was based on the mass produced Sd.Kfz.253's and
kept the same fender and headlight base, angled rear armor plate, and
observation windows.
